Born and raised in LaGrange, Illinois Matt started playing hockey for the (then) Darien Huskies. From there he played AAA for The Fury, Team Illinois, and the Chicago Mission. From there Matt played one year of U18 for the Cleveland Barons. That summer he was selected to represent Team USA at the Ivan Hlinka Tournament, winning player of the game in his only start, a 4-3 Overtime win over Sweden in the bronze medal game. From there Matt played his senior year of high school playing for the Janesville Jets in the North American Hockey League. That season his team set the total points record, wins record, and longest win streak, while he led the league in all major goaltending statistics. From Janesville Matt went to the University of Wisconsin, where he started my freshman year, then ran into some  injuries, leading him to return to the United States Hockey League with the Sioux City Musketeers. After a year in the USHL, Matt continued his college career at Michigan Technological University. During his senior year Michigan Tech won the Great Lakes Invitational. He is currently playing for the Idaho Steelheads in the ECHL.

Pete started his hockey career off with the Crystal Lake Leafs, while living up in Northern Illinois, before moving down to Hinsdale. Pete started off my AAA adventure with the Chicago Mission, and stuck with them until my Midget Major year. Pete's senior year of high school he moved onto playing in the USHL with the Chicago Steel. Pete played with them for one more year after high school before moving onto college hockey. Pete played college with coach Matt at the University of Wisconsin. Pete's sophomore year of college he was a B1G honorable mention, and then his senior year was named captain. After college, he signed with the Colorado Eagles in the AHL. Pete spent my first year mostly in the ECHL before getting called up at the end of the year, only to have our season get cut short from COVID. He was with them this past year as well, but ran into injury problems, so he didn’t get to play many games. As for this year, Pete is signed with the Rochester Americans in the Buffalo Sabres organization.
